Zohr gas production expected to reach 2.7 bcf/d target by July 2019

The Oil Ministry and Italy’s Eni agreed to expedite their timeline for the development of the Zohr gas field, aiming to bring the field’s production to 2.7 bcf/d by July 2019, rather than end-2019, a source from the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company told the local press. Production had broken the 2 bcf/d mark in recent weeks.

    First, Congratulations on this great achievement. We badly need more of Super Giant ZOHR accumulation.. am sure and confident of Eni`s ability to do it again, of course with the help of EGAS support.
    It would be nice to let Technical public know more information on Prospectivity of the upcoming NOOR drilling Campaign, (eg. Reservoir presence, type, thickness, Characteristics, Planned Depth and Expected Reserves). We all cant wait to see that successful Event (Insha`a Allah) happened, This will make Egypt Great again
