Achieving this certification proves we have advanced all our existing procedures and means we will be able to lead the way for our subsidiaries when it comes to having an efficient energy management system in place. As a result, we will be able to ensure that our energy consumption is aligned with our overall commitment to Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainability. We would like to thank Intertek’s auditing team for its cooperation and high level of support throughout the certification process. We would also like to thank all EGAS departments for their productive cooperation.”

It takes a lot of dedication and requires a good awareness across the entire team to complete this journey. Our lead auditors witnessed a highly motivated team effort from EGAS throughout the certification process and were impressed by the efficiency with which the energy management system was implemented and continuously improved in all areas. By implementing Energy Management Systems, EGAS will be able to reduce energy consumption and costs throughout the supply chain, as well as the impact on the environment.”
