Five companies prequalify for Gulf of Suez wind farm tender

Five companies have reportedly entered the race for the New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA)’s 250 MW wind farm project in the Gulf of Suez, Al Borsa reports. Among the bidders are Vestas, Siemens, Enercon, Ray Power, and a consortium comprised of Power China and Goldenwind. 21 companies, including Lekela Power, Nordic Power, and Orascom had expressed their interest in the project.
