Egypt launches 2023 International Oil & Gas Bid Round for 23 Blocks

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has officially launched The 2023 Egyptian International Bid Round.

The Bid Round is being offered by The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company (GANOPE) ncluding 23 open blocks for Exploration in the Western Desert, Eastern Desert, Gulf of Suez and Red Sea.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources intends to launch Gas Bid Rounds on March and Oil Bid Rounds on September/October every year.

Closing date is Sunday, 25/2/2024, 12:00 noon Cairo Local Time.
