The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Eng. Tarek El Molla, inspected the development of the Zohr gas field project, and met with the project’s Higher Committee to follow up on the progress of the project development.
Eng. El Molla said that the Zohr gas field will produce almost 1 billion cubic feet per day by the end of 2017, and according to the development plan for the field, production will be increased to reach 2.7 billion cubic feet of gas per day by the end of 2019
The Petroleum Ministry’s First Undersecretary – Eng. Mohamed Moanes , Eng. Osama El Bakly – EGAS Chairman, Eng. Atef Hassan – Petrobel Chairman, Eng. Mohamed Hathot – Enppi Chairman, and Eng. Adriano Mongini – Eni’s Country Manager & Director and General Manager of IEOC were all present at the meeting.
