According to news reports Egyptian oil service firm Petrojet has done work in Algeria for state-run Sonatrach worth $185 million. Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, met with employees from Egypt’s Petrojet, who are located in Algeria, to review work done for Sonatrach.
El Molla was in Algeria to attend the 15th International Energy Forum (IEF). The Egyptian minister met with his Algerian counterpart, Nouredine Bouterfa on the sidelines of the Forum to discuss possible cooperation between the countries. The ministers also discussed oil and gas market upgrades and OPEC efforts on global market stability.
