Eng. Hassan Abady, chairman of Pharaonic Petroleum Company S.A.E., said that the Fairlift vessel owned by marine installations contractor Subsea 7 has arrived loaded with umbilicals, electric and hydraulic works, cables, pipelines and fittings in preparation for the development of the East Nile Delta Phase 3 Project (END-3) of installing and tying new offshore Ha’py field wells near Port Said at a a depth of 100 meters.
Eng. Abady added that 8 kilometers of 10 and 20 inch diameter production pipelines have been installed by Subsea 7 vessel Seven Borealis in the period 8 – 19 February 2016. Eng. Abady explained that the Rockwater 2 vessel is to arrive on 30 March 2016 to install the umbilicals and perform necessary tests before starting operations.

Eng. Abady also noted that the first well is currently being drilled by El Qaher II rig, owned by Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), completing its drilling program and brining it onstream by the end of April 2016 with an estimated production of 70 million cubic feet (MMcf) of gas per day.
